Refund Policy
Last updated: August 3, 2026
We want customers to feel confident when purchasing SnapDraft. This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for our digital SaaS subscriptions, processed by Polar as Merchant of Record.
1. Polar is our Merchant of Record
All payments for SnapDraft products and subscriptions are processed by Polar (Polar Software, Inc.). Polar may handle checkout, payments, taxes, invoices, subscriptions, cancellations, refunds, and payment-related support as the Merchant of Record / authorized reseller. Refunds are handled in line with this policy, Polar’s buyer terms, and applicable law:
2. What you are buying
SnapDraft is immediate digital access to business software (account-based SaaS) for creating social marketing visuals. Delivery occurs when your account receives paid plan access after a successful purchase. There are no physical shipments.
3. Refund window
Our standard refund request window is 14 days from the original purchase date. Refund requests submitted after 14 days may be declined unless required by applicable law or approved under Polar’s Merchant of Record policies.
If you are a consumer, you may benefit from mandatory rights granted under the laws of your country of residence. Those rights are not limited by this policy where they cannot be waived.
4. General refund terms
Refund eligibility may depend on:
- The type of plan or subscription purchased.
- Whether credits or generation capacity have been used, consumed, abused, or materially relied on.
- Whether the request is made within the 14-day refund window.
- Whether the account violated our Terms of Service (including acceptable use).
- Mandatory consumer protection or statutory withdrawal rights that apply in your country.
- Polar’s own refund, payment, fraud-prevention, chargeback-prevention, and buyer-protection policies.
If you experience a billing error or a material service failure caused by us, contact us promptly within the window above so we can investigate. Prefer contacting support before filing a chargeback — chargebacks increase risk for all customers and can delay resolution.
Polar may issue full or partial refunds at its discretion (including to prevent chargebacks), even outside our standard commercial window, consistent with Polar’s Merchant of Record practices and card-network rules.
5. How refunds are handled
Because Polar is the Merchant of Record for SnapDraft purchases:
- Refund eligibility and decisions may be determined by SnapDraft and/or Polar under this policy and Polar’s terms.
- Approved refunds are issued by Polar to the original payment method where possible.
- Processing times may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
- Payment processing fees charged by card networks are generally not returned to SnapDraft when a refund is issued.
6. Subscriptions and cancellations
You may cancel a subscription at any time from your SnapDraft billing settings, the Polar customer portal (where linked), or by contacting contact@snapdraft.com. Cancellation normally stops future renewals and does not automatically refund previous charges unless a refund is approved under this policy, Polar’s terms, or applicable law. Access continues until the end of the paid period. Unused credits do not roll over unless stated on your plan.
7. Invite / beta access
Beta invite credits and complimentary promotional access are not refundable cash value.
8. How to request a refund
You can request a refund by contacting SnapDraft support:
- Email: contact@snapdraft.com
- Form: /contact
Please include:
- Your order number or Polar transaction / invoice reference.
- The email address used at checkout.
- A short explanation of your request.
We aim to respond within 48 hours on business days. SnapDraft support may help gather details and, where appropriate, coordinate with Polar for assessment and issuance of the refund.
