Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 3, 2026
This policy explains how SnapDraft (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our website and services. SnapDraft is a business SaaS web app that turns brand references and content spreadsheets into on-brand social visuals (Brand DNA, CSV batch generation, and Canvas editing). SnapDraft is not directed at children or minors.
1. Who we are
SnapDraft operates the product at this website and related app surfaces. For privacy questions, contact contact@snapdraft.com or use the contact form.
2. Information we collect
We may collect:
- Account information: name, email address, authentication data, and account settings.
- Usage information: pages viewed, features used, generation events, logs, and technical product events.
- Project content: brand references, CSV captions and related fields, prompts, Canvas edits, generated images, and project settings you provide.
- Device and technical information: IP address, browser, operating system, timestamps, cookies or similar technologies, and diagnostic data.
- Support communications: emails, form messages, and feedback you send us.
Please do not upload sensitive personal data about third parties unless you have a lawful basis and a clear need for the service. Do not upload content involving minors except ordinary brand/marketing assets you are authorized to use in a professional context.
3. Payments and Polar
Payments are processed by Polar (Polar Software, Inc.), our Merchant of Record and authorized reseller. When you purchase a SnapDraft plan, Polar may collect and process payment details, billing information, tax information, invoices, transaction identifiers, fraud-prevention data, and subscription status. We do not store full card numbers.
Polar’s processing of payment-related personal data is governed by Polar’s own policies, including:
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve SnapDraft.
- Run Brand DNA analysis, batch generation, Canvas editing, and exports using content you provide.
- Process accounts, subscriptions, credit usage, billing status, and support requests.
- Detect abuse, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms (including acceptable-use rules), debug errors, and protect users.
- Send transactional and important account communications (for example password reset or generation failures).
- Analyze usage and improve performance, onboarding, and product experience.
We do not sell customer project content or personal information as a product.
5. AI processing
SnapDraft may send captions, brand references, prompts, and related context to third-party AI model providers and infrastructure vendors to generate and edit visuals and power Canvas features. We use these services to provide the product and apply reasonable controls to protect customer content. Providers process this data as needed to deliver the service, not as a public showcase of your client work. Content may be subject to automated safety filters operated by us or our providers.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, analyze traffic, and improve product performance. Depending on configuration, this may include PostHog and related measurement tools. Details are in our Cookies Policy.
7. Sharing information
We may share information with:
- Service providers that host, secure, monitor, or operate SnapDraft.

- Polar for checkout, billing, tax, subscription, refund, fraud prevention, and payment support.
- Legal, regulatory, or security authorities where required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.

8. Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide SnapDraft, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements. You may delete your account from Settings. Project and image records are removed with your account; residual storage objects are cleaned by scheduled jobs. You may also request deletion of your account or certain content by contacting us.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to processing of personal information. Contact contact@snapdraft.com to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling it.
10. Children
SnapDraft is a business SaaS product for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. International processing
SnapDraft and its providers (including Polar and AI vendors) may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards available under applicable law for such transfers.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
